No offense to anyone who noticed his looks first I just wanna see if I’m not the only one. I can’t be, can I? There are others there has to be.
I didn’t think much of him until I saw him play Sherlock, tbh.
I didn’t know who he was until Sherlock. Just saying. And Sherlock was such an awesome character I decided to figure out who the actor was.
It took me about 3 times of seeing Amazing Grace back in 2007 before I went darn him, he’s pretty xD I was amazed by his acting in that, and Atonement. Full blown fangirlism didn’t come til Sherlock, though ^^;
I honestly fell in love with the character of Sherlock first before I even bothered to figure out who the hell Benedict was (I was more smitten with Martin to be honest). I only looked him up because he was so amazing and I wanted to see how his personality differed from Sherlock. And then I was Cumberbatched.

#but just the fact that he doesn’t know how attractive he is #and that he’s probably been told by so many people that he’s not worth as much because he’s not conventional looking #it just breaks my heart #because he’s so wonderful and lovely and just genuinely beautiful #and i know people think that immediately when people are famous they have just gallons of confidence because how could they not #but this just shows you that they don’t #god ben #i just want you to know that you’re perfect #and i’m sorry that anyone ever made you think differently
